Junior Social Media Manager

Jiji.co.ke is looking for a Junior Social Media Manager who will be responsible for developing interesting contents centered around improving Jiji as Kenya’s No.1 online marketplace and also engaging our customers on our social media.

The following are duties you will be responsible for:
i. Research relevant topics that fit the Jiji audience
ii. Come up with rubrics and content for all social media channels
iii. Work with trends in media content and find insights for creative campaigns
iv. Setting key performance indicators (KPIs) for social media campaigns, such as targets for a certain number of shares or likes and measuring a campaign’s performance against the KPIs

We believe that you will succeed better if you possess the following:
i. Critical thinking and strong ability to analyze information :interest in learning trends, find out opinions , work with forums, media and social platforms
ii. Ability to generate creative ideas
iii. Versatility
iv. BSc degree in Marketing ,Journalism and Advertising
v. Job experience in journalism ,content creating
vi. Proficiency in different analytical tools
